Verdical Group is providing Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) Verified Program Management for LAUSD’s Dahlia Heights Elementary School, designed by Kevin Daly Architects. Through CHPS, the project hopes to improve occupant health, productivity, and performance and achieve reduced operating costs and increased energy savings.

LADWP is the nation’s largest municipal utility and a visionary in the green building space. Verdical Group is providing support for LADWP as they explore the feasibility of LEED, TRUE Zero Waste, and JUST certifications.

Verdical Group was also engaged to conduct a study of the 21 most widely used green building rating systems. The research will allow LADWP to better determine which system(s) are a fit for each of their properties.

The Harlow is a 115,000-square-foot office owned by Hudson Pacific Properties and located in Hollywood, CA. Verdical Group is completing LEED v4 BD+C Core & Shell Project Management, Energy Modeling, Daylight Modeling, Fitwel, and Savings By Design Incentive Management services.

This innovative project was featured in the Business section of the Los Angeles Times print edition and in Urbanize LA. The greenhouse-inspired studio will function as an office space for the city’s creative leaders. In August 2019, it won the Silver Award in the “Unbuilt” category of the Commercial Property Executive Distinguished Achievement Awards.

Verdical Group provided Program Management for the SoCal Edge Program, a regional initiative to accelerate investment in next-generation building technologies, leveraging DOE research to identify market-ready best-in-class solutions and match them with property owners committed to innovation.

Participating technology companies agree to provide property owners with financial incentives to pilot their technology. Owners commit to measure the results and deploy the technology at additional sites if the pilot is successful. In addition to providing strategic planning and marketing support, Verdical Group provided project management and technical support to the program’s building owners and technology companies
